From 2010, all hoists used during construction—both material hoists and passenger/goods hoists—must be equipped with a fully fledged sliding landing gate with toe, knee and hip rails at every landing.
For material and passenger/goods hoists with a date of manufacture from 2010, the sliding gate may not open until the hoist’s 60 cm exit ramp is open. In addition, on a passenger/goods hoist, the sliding landing gate must be equipped with an interlock so the exit ramp cannot be retracted until the sliding landing gate on the landing is closed. When installed in a public use area for a renovation project such as a gallery flat, the sliding landing gates must also be fitted with sheet metal and a residents’ lock.
De Jong’s Liften have a standard sliding landing gate with various options in the product range. With this flexible solution the hoist meets the prescribed requirements in all situations. All options can be ordered separately, and different combinations are possible.
LS-4: Standard sliding landing gate with toe, knee and hip rails.
LS-L: Interlock (L). The sliding landing gate (LS-4) can only be opened when the exit ramp is extended. The interlock can be ordered separately.
LS-B: Ramp blocker (B). The exit ramp cannot be retracted until the sliding landing gate (LS-4) is closed. The blocker can be ordered separately and can be used in combination with the interlock (L).
LS-F: Sheet metal for basic sliding landing gate, including residents’ lock for public use areas. This can be combined with the interlock (L) and the blocker (B).
